In the 1986/1987 season the Air Jordan line came out with it's newest Jordans, the Air Jordan II, which had a full length air sole and extra strengthened sole in the middle. The Air Jordan 2's were laughed at in the beginning for its fresh and innovative design of lizrd skin on it's side, being made in Italy, and not being made in it's original black.
But of course the shoes popularity all hinged upon the man whom the shoes were named after, the man who would go on to win the slam dunk contest and make the shoes even hotter.
The Air Jordan Retro's of the Air Jordan 2 did not sell very well when remade in 1994, until they were remade in the original black and red in 2004.
Great success came with the Melo Jordans however, and sold out within a few hours of opening day. These shoes are rare to find so shop on here while you can still find them.
